Simple Life Series
The Simple Life Series began during my visit to Kanha Tiger Reserve, where I had gone in search of tigers—but found myself just as captivated by the life unfolding beyond the forest. As we drove through small villages, I couldn’t put my camera down. The vibrant blue of mud houses, women dressed in striking colors, and the season of blooming mahua flowers created scenes that felt both vivid and deeply grounded.
Passing through villages primarily inhabited by the Gond tribe and Baiga tribes, I was drawn into a world shaped by tradition, simplicity, and quiet resilience. This series is a reflection of those moments—of warmth, color, and a way of life that feels both timeless and beautifully present.
